The Buttercross Tearooms

This cosy tearoom is a wonderful place to gather with friends to enjoy a lovely pot of Taylor’s Yorkshire tea or a steaming cup of fresh D J Miles coffee.

We have many delicious foods to choose from on our menu. You can choose from homemade soups, (that are dairy- and gluten-free), to robust meat dishes; from seasonal quiches to hot baguettes. Breakfasts are served every day from morning until 3pm. Why not try our 3-egg omelette – very tasty!

All of our dishes and cakes are prepared in our own kitchens and, whenever possible, using seasonal and local ingredients. Even our bread rolls are homemade!
