RJ Wright & Son are traditional family thatchers based in Somerset, with a working history dating back to 1781. Now in our ninth generation, our family has been caring for thatched homes, cottages and historic properties for more than 240 years.
Today, the youngest member of our team – Shaun Wright continues that tradition as part of a skilled family team, combining time-honoured craft with a practical, reliable service for modern property owners. Because we work as an experienced team rather than a one-man operation, we are able to complete many projects more efficiently, while still giving every roof the care and attention it deserves.
