Leave car park and go right along West Street. At fork by post box go right, (signposted Langport) and after 200 m go left into West End.
After 250 m go sharp right, (Camden Road) bearing left after 70 m to reach junction beside grass triangle.
Bear right for 150 m to reach Langport Rd. Bear left and after 200 m at Gassons Lane, cross to opposite pavement, continuing towards Langport.
Cross Westholm Road and after 50 m, turn right into a track beside bus stop, (signposted Bridleway) and follow tarmac track to a gate.
Continue on broad grassy track with new houses on right to reach a gate. Go through gate, go left and follow road with care 250 m to junction.
Go left 70 m and cross with care into Ricksey Lane (no sign). Follow 750 m bearing sharp right then left over railway with view of tunnel to right. Ignore right turn just beyond and continue 400 m to junction.
Go left, passing Somerton entry sign and continue with care over bridge. 200 m beyond ignore left and right turns but go ahead 500 m to post box. Go ahead 100 m to Half Moon car park on left. You have now completed Walk 7.
