Leave car park and turn left along West Street.
After 300 m at the Market Place, bear to the right of the Old Town Hall (ACEarts). Continue past The White Hart and The Globe pubs into Kirkham Street.
Continue ahead past the Police Station into The Millands. Then ahead along a footpath in front of a row of white houses. Bear right to reach a kissing gate.
Cross field staying close to the right hand boundary. After 100 m cross the stile on right shortly before the end of the fence. Go down the field with the hedge on right, through a gate and across a bridge. Continue along a short grassy track to emerge in Lower Somerton.
Turn left and after 150 m, cross the busy B3151 with great care. Turn left and immediately right into Huish Road, (no through road sign), for 400 m to entrance of Somerton Randle.
Continue 500 m to reach way marked gap by metal gate on right. Cross broken stile, bear left then ascend gently to the right. Turn right on to track along edge of woods, climbing gently.
After 500 m, where path leaves woods, go ahead through wide gap and follow clear path across field to cross sleeper bridge.
Go through small copse, then follow clear path to gate to road. Go ahead along verge 100 m. Where road bears sharp left cross with care. Go along lane by Keeper’s Cottage.
After 300 m, go ahead at crossroads. Pass quarry on left and after 400 m turn right through metal gate (signposted Somerton). Follow path with hedge on right.
After 400 m enter a broad grassy track for 100 m to junction. Go right for 60 m, through gate and bear left to follow a well defined path across two fields to a stone stile over a wall to a road.
Go left and ascend gently up Pesters Lane to reach West Street.
Go left and the Half Moon car park is 200 m on the right. You have now completed Walk Two.
